Playfina Wheel of Fortune, step by step
Three steps run the Playfina Wheel of Fortune, as the wheel page itself puts them: play any slots, reach the required total bet, spin the wheel. The total bet shown in October was A$5,250, and every spin pays one of twelve prizes.
Next to it sit the lootboxes, which work on deposits with the code LOOTBOX. Both are part of a wider loyalty system, from coins to levels, described on the Playfina VIP program page.
The twelve amounts are not random numbers. Most of them reappear elsewhere on Playfina, which makes the wheel easier to place:
| Wheel sector | Same figure elsewhere on Playfina |
|---|---|
| A$15,990 | Golden Chest top prize, Diamond cashback cap |
| A$7,990 | Silver Chest top prize |
| A$3,145 | Bronze Chest top prize |
| A$1,540 | Largest shop cash pack, High Roller deposit |
| A$770 | Shop cash pack, Gold cashback cap |
| A$155 | Shop cash pack, lottery band start |
| A$30 | Shop cash pack, minimum bonus deposit |
| A$15 | Smallest shop cash pack |
Promo code LOOTBOX, 12 prizes in each chest, as listed, October 2026.
The Playfina wheel progress bar
The progress bar under the wheel counts your slot bets towards the target, shown as 0 / 5250 AUD before you start. Every pokie counts, according to the page. Live and table games are not mentioned.
When the bar is full, a spin becomes available and the wheel turns once. The page does not say whether progress expires, or whether a second spin can be stored while one is waiting.
The same A$5,250 of bets also earns weekly rakeback, and its rate is published, unlike the wheel's odds. Here is what that turnover pays as rakeback at each status, if placed in one week:
| Status | Rakeback on A$5,250 of bets |
|---|---|
| Bronze, 1% | A$52.50 |
| Silver, 2% | A$105 |
| Gold, 3% | A$157.50 |
| Sapphire, 4% | A$210 |
| Platinum, 5% | A$262.50 |
| Ruby, 7% | A$367.50 |
| Diamond, 10% | A$525 |
The smallest wheel sector, A$15, is below even the Bronze figure. The wheel adds to rakeback; it does not replace it.
Playfina achievements, quests and shop
The wheel is one corner of the Gamifications menu. The others reward different habits.
Achievements are milestones you pass once. In October they included a x10, x50 and x200 multiplier win, 500, 2,000 and 5,000 spins, 50, 200 and 500 wins, plus shop goals like a first purchase or spending 3,000 coins. Rewards run from 1 to 10 coins.
Quests are weekly: ten tasks on named pokies, 150 spins each at A$1.2 or more. Each pays 3 coins, and finishing all ten adds 50.
The shop takes the coins. Cash packs run from A$15 for 200 coins to A$1,540 for 7,600, and free spin packs are tied to named games such as Book of Cats or Voodoo People. Betting itself earns 1 coin per A$890.
The lottery and tournaments complete the set, both explained elsewhere on this site.
Put the pieces on one scale and the wheel is the slowest of them. A$5,250 of bets is about six coins' worth at A$890 per coin, and six coins buy nothing in the shop, where the first pack costs 200. A week of all ten quests earns 80 coins for at least A$1,800 of play. Each system pays a little; none of them pays for the play itself.
- Achievements: one-time goals, 1 to 10 coins each, from 500 spins to a x200 win.
- Quests: 10 a week, 150 spins at A$1.2 on a named pokie, 3 coins each.
- Shop: cash from A$15 to A$1,540, or free spins on named pokies, paid in coins.
Playfina lootbox chests next to the wheel
The wheel rewards turnover; the lootbox rewards a single deposit. With code LOOTBOX, A$45–74 gives a Bronze Chest worth up to A$3,145, A$75–229 a Silver Chest up to A$7,990, and A$230 or more a Golden Chest up to A$15,990. Each chest holds 12 prizes.
A lootbox is a deposit promotion, and only one bonus can be active at a time. So the real choice on a A$75 deposit is between a Silver Chest and the welcome match, not both.
The lootbox FAQ asks whether rewards carry wagering, how often a chest can be claimed and whether new players qualify, but the public page shows no answers. Ask support before choosing the chest over a known x35 welcome bonus.
Which prizes are on offer?
Twelve sectors in October: A$15, A$30, A$75, A$155, A$380, A$770, A$1,540, A$3,145, A$7,990 and A$15,990 in cash, and 100 or 200 free spins. No probabilities are shown, so expect the small sectors most often.
Are wheel prizes wagered?
The wheel page does not say. It links to its own terms and conditions, but the saved page shows no wagering figure, and neither the bonus terms nor the cashback rules mention the wheel.
What we can say from Playfina's other rules: free spin prizes are activated in the Bonuses tab, and free spin winnings are bonus money. Cash rewards elsewhere on the site, cashback and rakeback, carry x40 with a A$8 bet cap. A wheel prize may follow similar rules or none at all.
So ask support before you plan a withdrawal around it. Ask three things: the wagering, the time limit, and whether a withdrawal request cancels it. Get the answer in the live chat transcript or by email, so it can be used later if needed. If a wheel prize is the reason you keep playing, step back: the spin costs A$5,250 of bets, and the smallest prize is A$15.
- Free spin prizes: activated in the Bonuses tab, winnings count as bonus money.
- Cash prizes: wagering not published on the wheel page.
- Ask support for wagering, time limit and withdrawal rules in writing.
Playfina FAQ
Where is the Playfina Wheel of Fortune?
Under Gamifications, in the mobile bottom bar or the Promotions section of the side menu. The wheel page shows the progress bar and the twelve prizes. It is open on the Australian site in A$, though Playfina holds no Australian licence.
Do free spin prizes from the wheel expire?
The wheel page does not say. Welcome free spins at Playfina must be activated in the Bonuses tab; ask support how long a wheel spin prize stays valid. For comparison, cashback must be activated within 3 days and expires after 7.
Can I see my wheel progress?
Yes. The wheel page shows a progress bar against the A$5,250 target, starting from 0 / 5250 AUD. It fills with slot bets only, according to the page. At A$1 a spin, each A$525 of play moves the bar a tenth of the way, which is 525 spins.
Is a lootbox better than the wheel?
It is cheaper to reach: A$45 of deposit instead of A$5,250 of bets. But it takes the place of a welcome bonus on that deposit, and its wagering is not published either. Neither shows odds, and both top out at A$15,990.
Can I withdraw a wheel prize?
Possibly, after any wagering it carries. Playfina does not publish the wheel's prize terms on the public page, so confirm with support before you request a payout. Verification still applies, with up to 30 working days for document checks. Ask too whether a withdrawal request before wagering cancels the prize, as it does for cashback.
